Cooper also interviewed both democratic and republic citizens of American to gather their opinions about the war. After his outstanding work covering the war in Iraq, Anderson Cooper finally earned his own show at CNN in September of 2003. His new broadcasting show was titled: “Anderson Cooper, 360”. Anderson is quoted saying: "I think the notion of traditional anchor is fading away, the all-knowing, all-seeing person who speaks from on high." He displayed both the Republican and Democratic points of views. This demonstrates how Cooper appeals to different types of people, making him maintain an interpersonal intelligence.
